Description

This is the story about two people born in the same year but worlds apart.  Both experience WWII from different countries. The man is an American who joins the Army and is sent to Germany on his first assignment. He meets a German girl and eventually marries her.

The woman experiences life as a refugee and is deported back to Germany living through a series of Displaced Persons camps. She meets and marries an American soldier stationed in her city.  They move to the United States. Enjoy this woven tale of perseverance and intrigue!
