Many of our elders live apart from their families.  We can’t seem to fit them into our schedules. This ebook looks at the integration of elders into the fabric of our culture. It is a complex, woven tale of the hurdles in life and the resilency of the human spirit. Our young need the guidance of elders who teach the young how to handle power, accept mistakes, and recognize that healing comes from the darkest humiliation and degradation.   “Great Ones, pity me,” says an old Lakota prayer.  “….Truth is coming.  It hurts….
