Where does Expert Subjects sell books?

We sell books in all trade bookstores, retail outlets, college bookstores, book departments in department stores, libraries, Museum stores, Christian market stores and wholesalers.

How do I find out if I qualify?

During the editing process, your editor will be able to tell if your book qualifies or not. You will receive a one-on-one consultation and constructive criticism if needed. In some situations you might be asked to make changes that are crucial to your success. If your book has no chance of being approved or published, your editor will let you know. We take pride in what we do and we take this step very seriously.

Can I send you my manuscript to be reviewed and approved prior to purchasing your services?

You may send us your work for evaluation, but we cannot guarantee if and when we'll be able to respond. Our primary objective is to help self-publishers. But if, by doing so, we can also bring them distribution deals, then it's a win-win situation for everyone.

When do I get paid?

Once your book is with our channel partners, we will email you a quarterly report of all sales followed by a royalty check. This information will also be available to you online.

What royalties do you pay?

We are generous in terms of royalties, and this will be discussed in more detail with your account representative once you start the publishing process.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes, but only after you've discussed all the details with your account representative and all parties are in agreement.

Can I terminate the contract with you at any time?

Yes! If we are not selling for you, then you can terminate the contract, provided that we can still sell the remaining books that we have for you in our warehouse.
